An important part of the criteria development process is the four- to eight-week public review period in which comments are solicited from any interested stakeholder and the general public. Comments submitted to the EcoLogoM Program during this period are considered and the criteria revised accordingly.
The EcoLogo Program has established an online discussion forum for stakeholder comments to advance the discussion of several issues regarding criteria development. By registering on the forum, stakeholders can post contributions in several pre-determined topic areas, or they can propose new topics for discussion.
To begin your participation and register for the review process:
* Send a request to forums@ecologo.org using the following format (see example below)
First Name: John
Last Name: Smith
Affiliation: Member of Electric Vehicle Council of Ottawa
CCD: Electricity CCD - 003 (which CCD development or review you wish to participate in)
* Go on the following URL: http://ecologo.forumactif.com and create a user account; for your username please use your first initial followed by you full last name.
Once you have registered, the Forum Administrator will assign you to a specific usergroup (i.e. according to your interest provided in your initial request above) and grant you privileges to participate in the discussion forums. You should receive a welcome email from the EcoLogo Development Forum ASAP.
